Editing the Details Page Template (Administrators)

When you are editing a Display Template, you can edit the content and appearance that Voyager displays on the Detail Page for index records.  The main sections of the Detail Page are shown below.

Editing the Detail Page Template

To edit the Detail Page template:

• Go to Manage Voyager > My Displays > Display Templates
• Click the Edit icon for Detail Page
  
  
  
  
• To edit Display Fields for the Summary Display, click Add Summary Display Fields
• To edit Display Fields for the Details Table, click Edit

Configuring Framework Elements

Select the UI elements you want to appear on the Details Page.  By default, all choices are selected, but you may want to have fewer items appear based on the nature of your data.  For example, you may choose not to display Thumbnails if much of your data lacks the.

Configuring Summary Display Fields

Choose the fields to display on the Details Page.  You can also add fields here by clicking Add Summary Display Fields.  This brings up the Select Fields dialog, where you can customize which fields appear on the Details page.

Configuring Details Table Display

Choose to use all fields, the default fields or you can Customize the specific fields you wish to display.  To Customize the Display Fields, click Edit. 

Selecting a Default Metadata Style Sheet

Choose a Metadata Style Sheet from the drop-down list, or you can accept the default style.

Making Fields Editable

To make a field editable:

1. Click the arrow next to the field name in the Select Fields dialog
2. Check the box next to Editable
