Installing and Configuring Agents

Agents perform discovery and indexing tasks and are integrated with an instance of HQ.

Installation

To install and configure Agent,

1. Double-click the installation file
2. When the wizard is complete, check Run Voyager Agent
3. Click Finish to start Agent Setup

Entering the Agent Name

1. In the Agent Name tab, enter a name for the Agent
2. Click Next
   
   

Connecting to HQ

1. In the HQ Connection tab, enter the URL and login credentials for an instance of HQ
   
   
   
   
2. Click Connect
3. If the connection is valid, a Connection successful message appears
4. Click Finish
